Process analysis

We understand „Processes“ as a groups of linked activities that use resources and are managed to convert inputs into outputs (products, services). The output is primarily the products and services to deliver maximum value to internal and external customers of each organization.

In accordance with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) can be stated that:

  • process is a logical sequence of activities that cut across functional organizational structure
  • each process has a specific input and output
  • transformation of input to output provide role
  • for each role have to be defined typical activities and provide for Responsibility
  • each process has to have its owner (Process Owner)
  • for each process is appropriate to set the parameters, metrics and KPI (Key Performance Indicator), which can be assessed according to its quality

We know that business processes are often not known and named, that is why it is not sufficiently understood and managed. Processes, whether managed or unmanaged, traverse across the organization and it´s a clear picture of the flow of work. Ultimately, it´s the quality image of the company.

We also know that more than ¾ of funds earmarked for ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) is spent only on the operation and maintenance of existing systems. The qualitative development is pressing. We affirm that the procedural orientation is one of the best „medicines“.

MGE DATA can analyze existing IT processes and best practices using ITIL we can model their design optimization. Including clearly defined responsibilities of owner's process and each role in every activity that results from process analysis. We set the parameters and metrics processes so that there is measurable quality of their outputs. All to help clients successfully manage complex business activities using ICT.

MGE DATA believes that the procedural approach – analysis, modelling and setting up and managing business processes brings a unique effect in:

  • transparency – information about processes is available at all levels of activity, irrespective of time
  • optimization – a clear definition of processes, identify shortcomings and allow the products and services to optimize utilization of resources, reducing costs and increasing quality
  • decision support – the correct information at the right time in the right place
  • labour efficiency – eliminating the creation of duplicate information
  • flexibility – new solutions quickly adaptable to the needs of customers while minimizing the cost of change

Impacts are obvious – financial success, improving the availability and quality of services, increasing customer satisfaction and effective development.
